Top of Mount Bastide
Eze is a beautiful medieval village in the Côte d’Azur. We hiked there from the train station – passing through Mount Bastide – 8km loop with 750 metres of vertical.

It was a bit of a tough hike on my 9 year old, but she persevered – lunch, macaroons and ice-cream in Eze seemed to take the edge of quite nicely.

Arrive: Eze Train Station
Walk towards train station, up ramp-like road to paved pathway winding through the homes until you find a dirt trail that begins 1/2 way up someone’s driveway.
