Gourdon is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Set high in the middle of a mountain, the old feudal village offers beautiful views of the Côte d’Azur.
Trail Run parking is found at Bar-sur-Loup (Google Maps) or Wikiloc. On the weekends, parking is very much as Bill Bryson said regarding Rome parking ” You turn any street corner in Rome and it looks as if you’ve just missed a parking competition for blind people.” (Neither here Nor There) Drivers often park and then squeeze out of the passenger side door.
Notice the Elevation climb – 1,381 feet or 421 meters!! It’s a bit of a punishing climb.
