Restaurants – After a simple hike in Bois de Callian, Tim and I ventured to Mandelieu to have a meal by the sea. The Buccaneer (Le Boucanier) is nicely situated in the harbour beside Château de la Napoule – a restored French castle.
With a name like The Buccaneer we were thinking… 
But, to our surprize, it was much more shi shi foo foo
I recommend The Buccaneer as long as you are prepared to pay a small tourist tax – it’s a bit pricey for what you get, but at least what you get is delicious. Picture of Tim taken on March 4th, that’s right, t-shirt and patio weather when you live in the south of France!
