The Annex Beach Club is a very well run beach club that caters to a variety of people. Great food, cozy chairs, tons of space; the Club is like a mini resort. Kids and moms had a fantastic time. It’s a bit pricey, but what do you expect from a beach club in the South of France?
The only odd part about the club was 20 of their customers. We happened to be sitting next to a 20 person table that was totally decked out. We were rather excited to see who our table mates were going to be, and they didn’t disappoint. In walked some of the most beautiful women we have ever seen. The men, well, perhaps they had charming personalities. It was such an odd mix of women who were either staring off into space (looking slightly irritated) or looking at their phones (same expression) and the men cheesily glad-handing guests between important phone calls. There were many moments that everyone was looking at their phone screen. All I can say is if you are in the South of France, and an expensive beach club, with a bunch of people your own age, and you still feel the need to look at your phone, change your life completely.
