Auberge Provençale is in the quadfecta of restaurants in Valbonne’s ancient town square. They offer a good menu with traditional French dishes. Auberge Provençale has the best indoor space of any of the four restaurants in the square, so it is often busy during rainy or colder days. It is the only restaurant in the square that offers a burger – which has made it a fan favourite in our household. But I think the steak tartar with foie gras on the top is by far their best dish. The marinated anchovies and fried halibut are always a treat.
